On a summer evening in Memphis, Tennessee, the Binghampton neighborhood was shaken by violence that claimed the life of a 38-year-old man. On July 16, 2017, police responded to a shooting on Faxon Avenue where they discovered the victim, identified in some reports as Tony Lofton and in others as Mario Lofton, lying on the sidewalk.
