On February 9, 2017, 18-year-old Donquarius 'DQ' Alexander was tragically shot and killed in Memphis, Tennessee. Alexander was among several victims of gun violence that have plagued the city in recent years, highlighting the broader issue of violence in certain Memphis neighborhoods.
