Uti Makasini, a 27-year-old Tongan man, was tragically killed on March 5, 2017, in Memphis, Tennessee. Makasini was involved in a robbery over a large amount of marijuana, during which he was shot and killed. The crime took place at a Fairfield Inn hotel, and details suggest that the incident was related to a drug deal gone wrong.
