In the late hours of a Friday night in Memphis, the life of 25-year-old Jerod J. Lewis was tragically cut short. On August 3, 2012, at approximately 11:40 p.m., police responded to a call at Perkins and I-240, where they discovered Lewis inside a vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to the Regional Medical Center in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on August 4, 2012.
