In the late hours of a Friday night in Kansas City, Missouri, on May 26, 2017, a discovery was made in the 2600 block of Myrtle Avenue that would mark the tragic end of a young life. Responding to a call about gunfire in the area at approximately 11:15 p.m., police officers arrived to find 15-year-old Franklin Noland of Kansas City, Kansas, inside a vehicle, suffering from a fatal gunshot wound.
