In the late hours of September 4, 2017, just two days before his 28th birthday, Kendrick D. Anderson, a father of three, was driving in Kansas City, Missouri, when his life was tragically cut short. He was heading towards Swope Park, traveling south on U.S. 71 near Meyer Boulevard, when another vehicle reportedly pulled alongside his black Kia Optima and unleashed a barrage of gunfire.
