In the early hours of a Wednesday morning, on June 7, 2017, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet of a Kansas City, Missouri neighborhood, leaving three men dead and a community gripped by fear. Among the victims was 34-year-old Kevin Murrell. He, along with 28-year-old Chad Cain and 28-year-old Cortez Hanley, were found fatally shot inside a car parked in the 7100 block of Monroe Avenue.
