On August 12, 2017, Jonathan Cheers, a 26-year-old male from Nashville, Tennessee, was tragically shot and killed in a North Nashville apartment complex. Cheers was found in a breezeway at the Cumberland View Apartments off 25th Avenue North, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
