In the late hours of a Thursday in Nashville, Tennessee, the life of 19-year-old Chri’Shawn Harbison, an aspiring musician, was tragically cut short. On February 18, 2021, Harbison was fatally shot under circumstances that remain shrouded in mystery. He was not discovered by authorities at a crime scene, but was instead transported by a private vehicle to Skyline Medical Center.
The two individuals who brought him to the hospital, young men aged 18 and 16, arrived in a dark gray Nissan
Altima. Shortly after their arrival at 5:45 p.m., Chri’Shawn Harbison was pronounced deceased. Homicide detectives were dispatched to the medical center to begin their investigation into the events that led to the young man's death. The two teenagers who drove him were interviewed by the authorities, and it is believed that the fatal shot was fired while Harbison was inside the Altima.
As the investigation unfolded, the Nissan Altima was impounded and sent to the Metro Nashville Police Department laboratory for processing. Detectives worked to piece together the timeline and circumstances of the shooting, but information was scarce. They began a search for surveillance footage that might offer clues as to where the shooting took place.
Despite the ongoing efforts of law enforcement, no charges have been filed in the death of Chri’Shawn Harbison.
