On June 2, 2017, Destiny Ai'Gner Weaver, a 25-year-old from Kansas City, Missouri, was found dead in her car at Tower Park, located in the Waldo neighborhood. Destiny, who was passionate about community work, had her own business, Fonk'd OWT Tees and Wigz Split Hair Designs, and was a youth counselor for many years.
