In Nashville, Tennessee, a young man's life was cut short in the fall of 2017. Lorenzo Goldthreate, a 23-year-old male, was shot and killed on Saturday, September 23, 2017. The incident occurred at a residence on Jones Avenue where he lived with his roommate.

Authorities were called to the home before 6 p.m. and discovered Goldthreate had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. Investigators quickly identified his 21-year-old roommate, David M. Holbert, as the primary suspect in the shooting. It ...
