On April 28, 2023, at approximately 4:28 p.m., 46-year-old Gerges A. Youssef was fatally shot while driving his black Honda CR-V southbound on Briley Parkway in Nashville, Tennessee. Youssef had left work shortly before the incident and was within a mile of his home when the shooting occurred. His vehicle, bearing multiple bullet holes on both sides, struck a guardrail and veered into a grassy area before coming to rest on Envious Lane.
