Marquice Miles, a 25-year-old African American male, tragically lost his life on February 19, 2018, in Nashville, Tennessee. The incident occurred around 3 p.m. at the intersection of 12th Avenue North and Jefferson Street. Marquice was shot twice in the chest following a physical altercation with Capius Maclin Jr., a convicted sex offender who was dating Marquice's ex-girlfriend at the time.
