In the early morning hours of June 19, 2019, tragedy struck in Nashville, Tennessee, when Joe Louis Bass, a 29-year-old male, was fatally shot. The incident occurred at approximately 4:25 a.m. outside the J.C. Napier public housing development located at 148 Lafayette Street.
