Joe Louis Bass, a 29-year-old male, tragically died on June 19, 2019, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was found lying on the sidewalk suffering from apparent gunshot wounds in the J.C. Napier public housing development. Bass was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. According to police reports, Bass attempted to intervene in an argument between a man and a woman, and it is believed that the man may have attempted to rob Bass.
