On July 14, 2023, 27-year-old La'Toria "LT" Nevels-Mitchell was tragically killed outside her East Nashville home. The incident followed an earlier altercation between Nevels-Mitchell and her boyfriend, 27-year-old Lewis Thomas II, at a local nightclub. During the argument, Thomas reportedly pushed Nevels-Mitchell and was subsequently escorted out of the club.
