Shamar Lewis, a 34-year-old African American man from Burns, Tennessee, was tragically shot and killed on February 20, 2018, in Nashville. The incident occurred at the Cobblestone Corners apartment complex on Ben Allen Road. According to witnesses, Lewis had driven to the complex to meet an acquaintance who had arrived in an SUV.
