In the heart of downtown Nashville on the evening of June 21, 2026, a dispute escalated into a tragedy that claimed the life of 12-year-old Damarion Morehead. The young Black male was with a group of six to seven individuals in a courtyard at the intersection of Representative John Lewis Way and Deaderick Street when a fight broke out.
