Marrickco Swift, a 41-year-old Black man from Memphis, Tennessee, was killed by gun violence on June 8, 2018.

In the days that followed, the killing was linked in later reporting to a shooting outside the Grizzly Mart store on National Street, a small stop along a busy stretch of the city where people come and go at all hours. The store is listed at 1094 National Street in Memphis.
