John W. Waldon, a 31-year-old man, was killed in a shooting on the night of July 1, 2017, in Kansas City, Missouri. His body, along with that of 49-year-old Andre L. Barnes, was discovered by police in the street at the intersection of 28th Terrace and Myrtle Avenue. Both men had been fatally shot. The double homicide was part of a violent holiday weekend in the city and was connected to another killing that occurred the same evening.
