On October 21, 2018, Kaleigh Shae Pennington, a 10-year-old girl from Saint Joseph, Tennessee, tragically lost her life. She was with her twin brother in the family's truck while their parents were shopping at a Dollar General store. The incident occurred when Kaleigh's brother found a handgun beneath the seat of the truck and accidentally shot her in the head.
