Ellis Ray Hamby Jr., a 44-year-old male from Cookeville, TN, tragically died on October 29, 2016. His death was the result of a shooting incident at the residence of his girlfriend, Tonya Baughman, in the Oakdale community of Morgan County. The investigation into his death was conducted by the Morgan County Sheriff’s Department and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation .
