In the early morning hours of February 18, 2019, the life of Michael Lee Chambers Jr., a 28-year-old African American male from Knoxville, Tennessee, was tragically cut short. Just after 3:00 a.m., officers with the Knoxville Police Department responded to a report of a shooting on the Lovell Road overpass at Interstate 40.
