Jonah Caldwell, a 25-year-old male of African American ethnicity, tragically lost his life on January 18, 2021, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Caldwell was one of two victims in a double homicide at the Mag Lounge on East Magnolia Avenue. The other victim, Marquis Nolan, aged 23, also an Austin-East High School graduate, was killed in the same incident. Both men were pronounced dead at local hospitals shortly after the shooting.
