In the spring of 2019, the life of 30-year-old Deroe Dontarris Jones was tragically cut short in a burst of gunfire. On the evening of April 10th, Jones was in the Nashboro Village area of Nashville, specifically at the Vista Glen Apartments, when he was fatally shot. The incident left a community in shock and a family grappling with a sudden and violent loss.
