Roosevelt Cooper, an 18-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was fatally shot on August 17, 2017. The incident occurred at around 2:42 p.m. in a parking lot off Troost Avenue. He was found inside his vehicle with gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene. Roosevelt Cooper was a recent high school graduate and was preparing to attend Missouri State University when his life was tragically cut short.
