On a summer evening in Clarksville, Tennessee, the life of 23-year-old Kendrick Grayer, a male U.S. Army soldier, was cut short. On July 3, 2019, police responded to a call of shots fired on Eighth Street around 11 p.m. and discovered Grayer on a basketball court suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
