In the winter of 2019, a Nashville man, 47-year-old Jamar Pillow, was shot and killed inside his Fairwin Avenue home. His girlfriend, Kristina Arnold, 28, called 911 on the night of December 17th to report that she had shot him. When police arrived, they found Pillow in his bed with a single gunshot wound. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died from his injuries.
