In the winter of 2020, a night that should have been filled with music and camaraderie ended in tragedy for 19-year-old Mauriceo Dandridge. On January 19th, Dandridge was at the Truth Club in the 6700 block of Winchester Road in Memphis, Tennessee, to support a friend who was performing. While waiting in a crowded line to enter the club, an argument erupted. A man in the line reportedly became angry with security, believing the security checks were taking too long.
