In the spring of 2020, the life of 14-year-old Paul Steele, a male, was tragically cut short in a senseless act of violence in Nashville, Tennessee. On the evening of March 19, 2020, at approximately 11:03 p.m., police were called to the area of Brookway Drive and Westchester Drive in response to a shooting. Paul had been shot and was transported to a local hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

was shot. The assailant, who remains unknown, fled the scene in a blue sedan, heading southbound on Brick Church Pike toward Briley Parkway. The Metro Nashville Police Department's Madison Precinct detectives are investigating the case as a homicide. The suspect vehicle was later described as a dark blue Honda Civic. It was reported that this car drove by Paul, turned around, and on the second pass, a passenger in the front seat fired the shots that fatally wounded the teenager.
