On the evening of March 31, 2020, in Jackson, Tennessee, 21-year-old Kortez Kentrell Waller, a Black male, was fatally shot in a double homicide that also claimed the life of 22-year-old Kordell Bass. The shooting occurred on Breezewood Cove near Old Hickory Boulevard.
