In a tragic turn of events on a late June morning in Jackson, Tennessee, 18-year-old Isaiah Day, a male resident of the city, lost his life. The incident unfolded in the parking lot of a business in the 2000 block of Hollywood. Day was a passenger in a stolen car being driven by 35-year-old Eugene Richmond of Memphis. As Day was getting out of the vehicle, Richmond shot him. Emergency services transported Day to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
