On a Wednesday afternoon in Nashville, Tennessee, 37-year-old Jamal Brandon Campbell was fatally shot in an attempted robbery. The male victim had gone to the Cumberland View public housing development on May 13, 2020, with the intention of purchasing marijuana. While in a breezeway, a man allegedly pulled a gun on Campbell in an attempt to rob him, leading to an exchange of gunfire.
