In the spring of 2020, a Memphis community was shattered by a senseless act of violence that claimed the life of Patricia Draper Bryant, a 55-year-old Black/African American woman. On the afternoon of May 16th, what began as a neighborhood dispute between a group of women escalated into a tragedy that would be broadcast in real-time on social media.
