In the winter of 2024, the life of a young Memphis man, Marqulo D. Mason Jr., was tragically cut short at the age of 19. On the evening of February 13th, in the 2000 block of Philsar Street, Mason was robbed and fatally shot. The incident prompted an investigation by the Memphis Police Department, who were initially searching for two men in connection with the deadly robbery.
