Friends and family described her as someone who treasured her son and was in the process of establishing her own support group dedicated to helping children who had lost parents to violence. She had lived in the rental home on 59th Street for approximately five or six months and was striving to move past prior legal challenges to build a stable life for her family.
The investigation determined that Fisher died from a gunshot wound. Following the discovery, police canvassed the area and appealed to the public for assistance, urging anyone with information to contact the TIPS Hotline. A reward was made available for details leading to an arrest.
