In the quiet, early morning hours of August 2, 2020, the life of 38-year-old Carltrovious Moore, a Black male from Chattanooga, Tennessee, was tragically cut short. Witnesses in the area of Taylor and Gilbert Streets reported hearing the sharp crack of multiple gunshots piercing the dawn stillness at approximately 5 a.m. Responding to the calls, Chattanooga Police officers arrived to a grim scene.
