On September 5, 2020, Zedric Douglas, a 43-year-old male from Nashville, Tennessee, was tragically shot to death in South Nashville. The incident occurred just after midnight on Maury Street and Cannon Street. When police arrived at the scene, they found Douglas and another man, Stanley Wyatt Jr., who was 53 years old, both suffering from gunshot wounds. Douglas was pronounced dead upon arrival at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, while Wyatt was left in critical condition.
