In the late evening hours of a mid-September day in 2020, the life of David Allen Turner, a 29-year-old male, was tragically cut short in Knoxville, Tennessee. On Wednesday, September 16, 2020, Knoxville Police Department officers responded to a call about a shooting on Lyons Way around 10:30 p.m.. Upon their arrival, they discovered David Allen Turner suffering from a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
