In the quiet community of Tellico Plains, Tennessee, the life of 78-year-old Billie Sue McFall Holloman came to a tragic and violent end on November 7, 2020. A native of Alcoa, Tennessee, born on February 26, 1942, she had built a life that included marriage, motherhood, and a passion for travel.
That fateful day, however, her story took a dark turn when she was shot and killed. The alleged assailant was her own husband, who was subsequently charged with criminal homicide in her death.
In the same incident, he was also accused of shooting his son in the face.
Billie Sue was remembered for her close bond with her older sister and the love she had for her daughter and grandchildren. Her life, which began in a small two-bedroom home and saw her pursue a career in pharmacy, was cut short by an act of domestic violence that also left another family member injured.
