Latonia Renee Hardin, a 44-year-old woman from Jackson, Tennessee, tragically lost her life on November 27, 2020. She was fatally shot by her husband, Atlas Pittman Jr., inside their home on Arlington Avenue. The incident occurred during an argument between the couple, which escalated when Pittman went outside to smoke a cigarette and returned with a gun. He shot his stepson in the hand before turning the gun on Hardin, firing multiple rounds at her as she lay on the kitchen floor.
