In the quiet town of Bethpage, Tennessee, the life of 31-year-old Jessie Binkley was tragically cut short on Friday, December 11, 2020. A mother and respected office manager at her family's business, Tennessee Underground, LLC, she was found deceased in her home alongside her 9-year-old son, Ezekiel 'Zeke' Iacob. Both had been fatally shot. The devastating discovery was made after a family member went to check on them.
The investigation into the double homicide quickly pointed to a
suspect: Kevin Marc Moore, a 31-year-old former employee of the Binkley's business who had recently been terminated. Evidence left at the scene of the crime led authorities to Moore. It was later revealed that before the murders, Moore had allegedly forced Jessie to transfer money to him through a banking app. Investigators also found that Moore may have staked out the house for a couple of days prior to the killings, as indicated by footage from trail cameras on the property.
A manhunt for Moore ensued, with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation offering a reward for information leading to his capture. The search came to an end on a Sunday when the Sumner County Sheriff's Office received a tip that Moore had returned to his residence in Gallatin.
