On February 19, 2019, Lenor Vazquez Silva, a 39-year-old woman of Hispanic ethnicity, tragically lost her life in a domestic violence incident in Dandridge, Tennessee. The incident occurred at their residence on Oak Grove Road, where deputies responded to a call regarding a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, a child ran out of the house to meet the deputies, and a man, later identified as Juan Lopez Pineda, 46, informed them that he had shot his wife before closing the door.
