On December 12, 2020, Christopher Trivette, a 29-year-old man from Chattanooga, TN, was tragically shot and killed at the La Quinta Inn in Hixson. According to police reports, Trivette was found with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene by EMS. The investigation revealed that Trivette's phone and ID were missing, and the room he was in had been registered under another man's name.
