Davonte Bell, an 18-year-old male from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on January 5, 2021. Bell was shot inside the Birch Road apartments in Whitehaven while attempting to sell a PlayStation. According to Memphis Police, the motive behind the shooting was robbery. Witnesses reported hearing the shots, and detectives hoped surveillance video from the apartment complex would help identify the perpetrator.
