Davonte Bell, an 18-year-old Black male, was tragically killed in Memphis, Tennessee. On the evening of Tuesday, January 5, 2021, Bell was involved in a fatal shooting incident that took place at the Birch Road apartments located in the Whitehaven neighborhood. The promising young man from Horn Lake had his life cut short in what authorities believe was a robbery gone wrong. He was reportedly at the apartment complex with the intention of selling a PlayStation gaming console.
