On December 9, 2017, Angelique Janetta Stafford, a 39-year-old mother of five, was fatally shot while sitting in a car with a friend at a convenience store parking lot in Houston’s Trinity Gardens neighborhood. Around 2:40 p.m., a suspect approached the vehicle on a bicycle and fired multiple shots before fleeing.
