James L. Springer Jr., a 60-year-old African American man, was found dead on February 17, 2021, in Nashville, Tennessee. His body was discovered on the side of West Hamilton Road near Drakes Branch Road by a resident who was out walking in the area. Springer had suffered head trauma, and the Medical Examiner was working to determine his cause of death.
