Reginald Palmer Jr., a 30-year-old African American man from Memphis, Tennessee, tragically lost his life on April 12, 2021. He was fatally shot while sitting inside his vehicle in the 7200 block of Easterly Lane near East Holmes. Deputies arrived at the scene around 3:30 a.m. and pronounced him dead on the scene. The incident was part of a series of shootings in the area, which had already claimed several lives that year.
