Gerald Leroy Jr., a 41-year-old Black man, tragically died on June 11, 2021, in Nashville, Tennessee. He was involved in a fatal altercation that took place in the 3900 block of Preston Taylor Place, inside the Preston Taylor Homes complex. According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, Gerald Leroy Jr. and another man arrived together in Leroy's car and stopped near the exit of the parking lot.
