In the summer of 2021, a life was tragically cut short in Nashville, Tennessee. On June 11th, Gerald Leroy Jr., a 41-year-old Black man, was fatally shot in the Preston Taylor Homes complex. The events leading to his death began with an argument that escalated into a physical altercation.
