On March 27, 2023, a tragic incident occurred at The Covenant School, a private Christian institution in Nashville, Tennessee, resulting in the death of 9-year-old Hallie Scruggs, the daughter of the church's pastor. The assailant, identified as Audrey Hale, a 28-year-old former student of the school, entered the premises armed with two assault-style rifles and a handgun.
