Demarcus Lee Bruin

In the afternoon hours of a summer day in north Shelby County, Memphis, Tennessee, the life of Demarcus Lee Bruin was tragically cut short. On July 11, 2021, at approximately 2:15 PM, the 25-year-old African American male was fatally shot near the intersection of Old Brownsville Road and Rensslaer Drive. Emergency services responded to the scene, and Bruin was swiftly transported to Regional One Hospital in critical condition. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he was pronounced dead.
