On July 11, 2021, 25-year-old DeMarcus Lee Bruin was fatally shot in north Shelby County, Memphis, TN. The incident occurred around 2:15 PM at the intersection of Old Brownsville Road and Rensslaer Drive. Bruin was transported to Regional One Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear, and no suspects have been identified or taken into custody.
